everyone has read this except you; or, “you’ve never read–“

I read Bridge to Terabithia today for the first time. I don’t know how it happened, this way, but I never read it as a kid. Weird, but hey, that’s how it goes. It makes me wonder–as much as I enjoyed it, would it have impacted me more if I’d read it when I was young? Or does this fall under my loosely-held belief that the universe places stories in our path at just the right time? I don’t know, but it’s interesting to consider, if nothing else.
